The Rocket City Mustang Club (RCMC), located in Madison County Alabama, promotes the restoration, preservation, and enjoyment of Mustang and serves as a source of information concerning these automobiles for the benefit of its members as well as the general public. RCMC is a chartered regional group of the Mustang Club of America.
RCMC was established in 1980 and celebrated its 25th year of existence in 2005 by hosting an MCA National Show at Huntsville's Space and Rocket Center. Over 400 cars attended from all over the United States.
In the past the club has held its annual show at various locations throughout Huntsville including The U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Milton Frank Stadium, the old Alabama Theater at the Mall, Madison Square Mall, and the current location, Woody Anderson Ford. We have also held smaller, display only shows at Woody Anderson Ford, Parkway City Mall (inside), Madison Square Mall (inside), A&W Restaurant, and the current location Johnny Gryll's (University Dr.). In the past the club also had an annual spring swap meet that was held at various locations including the old Honey's Auto Parts on South Parkway and the North Parkway KMart.
We have also participated in numerous Christmas parades, St. Patrick Day parades, and Veteran Day parades. Also, convertible owners have provided rides for various high school homecoming courts, and for elderly veterans at the annual Veteran Day parade.
RCMC membership is only $12 per year and does not require that you own a Mustang, just that you are a Mustang enthusiast.
RCMC members are encouraged, (but not required) to join the Mustang Club of America (MCA), since RCMC is a Chartered Regional MCA Chapter. To join the Mustang Club of America, register on their web site here.
To join RCMC, download the registration form here, then fill-out and send it along with a $12 check (made payable to Rocket City Mustang Club) to:
