The weather was not that great this past Tuesday, but we still had a great turn out!!
We are starting to pick up on events, so be sure to check your email and events on here!!
Jimmy, our Cooridinator has signed us up for St. Patrick's Day Parade! Be on the look out for the scheduled events for that.
Matthew Kearney has hooked up Club Members with photo opportunities with his horse. We will do that after we have some breakfast at the Guntersville Airport. That event will be out soon. (9 March)
We also discussed articles for MCA Magazine. I know of at least one person who has turned something in. If you would like to have your car in it, please see David Turner. He is responsible for all MCA submissions. That being said, I will have the camera that was generously donated by a Club member for upcoming events so David can submit articles with worthy photos. We haven't had an article in the magazine for a little over 2 years, its time to get back in it!!
Bottom line, get ready to have Club activities!!
If you have a suggestion or idea, contact me:) No idea is a bad one!!
Thanks for being the Greatest Mustang Family/Club!!
January President Notes:
Great meeting this past Tuesday! Here are just a few things we went over:
- World of Wheels in Birmingham is scheduled! It's a great show and a great Cruise so hopefully you all can join us.
- Club dues are due.
- Looking to make another donation after everyone pays dues.
- Officer responsibilities will be posted and emailed out so everyone knows what is expected from the Officers you all elected.
- If you would like some RCMC shirts and hats, please contact Shane Suddarth. Daniel Humphreys will be making RCMC some awesome tumblers!!
We all love our cars!! We have taken our love for our cars and have done an EXCELLENT job giving back to our Community. My hats off to you!!! If you know a Company that would like to Sponsor us, please contact me. This Club/Family has grown so much and I think the reason why is because of the good we do!! When you do something good, it brings people together:)
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
Thanks again for being the BEST Mustang Club!!
Good morning from Omaha, NE where the temp is 9 degrees!!
We had a lot go on since our last meeting. Our 3rd Annual Bikes or Bust, and our Donation to OLLI. RCMC also did our 3rd Annual Rally4Kids and Galaxy of Lights.
And let's not forget our SPECTACULAR Christmas party. As a thank you to all the Club Members, The Club chipped in so it would only cost Members $15 a person. Not too shabby for some great Prime Rib and Chicken!!
Thank you for all of your hard work in 2018, and as we move forward into 2019, I suspect we will have another GREAT year!! A Club is only as good as the members who make it up, so my hats off to all of you for making this the BEST Mustang Club in Alabama!!
Great meeting tonight!!! Here are a few highlights:))
Our donation to OLLI went extremely well along with Bikes or Bust.
Some key dates for you1:
- December is our 3rd Annual Rally4kids. Members can buy a toy to donate to Christmas All Year Round. Meet up and times will come out soon.
- 8 December is the Madison Christmas Parade. Everyone is welcome to join in. Put some pretty lights or decorations on your car and join us. (Mine go on the inside of the car around the windows) Meet up time and location will be email out.
- 18 December is our Christmas Party at Woody Anderson Ford!!! More details to follow:))
I just want to thank you all for making RCMC a family and the BEST Mustang Club around. During Bikes or Bust they had me speak on the radio and I said it to whoever was listening. You guys and gals make up the BEST Mustang Group in Northern Alabama.. HANDS DOWN!! Not only do you all help and support each other, you support the Community!!!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Hope all is well:) We had a great meeting this past Tuesday. Lots of information so get comfy before reading!!!
Our Board of Directors has approved a donation to Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. We are looking towards an early to mid November donation event. Great job RCMC! There will be a few more donations later on.
We will have a "Member Spotlight" each month. This will give us an opportunity to get to know members better and meet the folks who help make up this fantastic Club. They will be in our newsletter, on our Facebook page and on our new website. Some of you have asked about our Newsletter for September. September was a busy month!! Busy for good reasons, but still busy. RCMC paid for David Turner to travel to Dallas for the Mustang Club of America Regional Directors conference. That being said, he also does the newsletter and he is probably getting caught up and it will be out soon:)
We will have a new website up and running very soon!!! I've seen it and it looks awesome!! Thank you Teresa and Dave!!! When it goes live I will let you all know:)
We have Trunk or Treat at Providence on 31 October with our Rocket City Wrangler Friends.
Veterans Day Parade is 12 November. As we get closer an email will go out for those who want to be in the parade.
Christmas party: Woody Anderson will host us again this year. It will be on 18 December. (Usual meeting night)
Ok, this has been ALOT of info, so I will stop. Just when you think Car Season is over....we still have a bunch to do to end the year off right!!!
Thanks again for making this the BEST Club/Family around!! If you need anything, please let me know;)
